Nursing guidelines for hospital highs in trauma ready service

Abstract

The objective of the study was to identify the main guidelines for discharge by nursing in urgency and emergency trauma services. This is an integrative review carried out in the following databases: Virtual Health Library (VHL), American Medicine Library (PubMed), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Scopus and Google Scholar, published from 2015 to 2020 From the results found, six categories of guidelines emerged: skin care; use of non-pharmacological measures for pain relief; guidelines focusing on comprehensiveness and multidisciplinarity of care; family and patient participation in the discharge process; post-discharge follow-up. Patients who attend urgent and emergency services, especially trauma, need a wide range of care and professionals to ensure their best recovery after discharge. The nurse, as part of the multidisciplinary team, is a protagonist in the planning and execution of discharge guidelines.

Vanessa Bertoglio Comassetto Antunes de Oliveira, Universidade Federal do Paraná

Doctor of the Graduate Program in Nursing at the University of São Paulo. Master in Nursing at the School of Nursing of São Paulo. She has a degree in Nursing and Midwifery from the Federal University of Paraná (2005). She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Nursing at the Federal University of Paraná-UFPR in the discipline of Nursing in Adult Health. Member of the GEMSA research group (Multiprofessional Study Group on Adult Health).

Sabrina Sara Aparecida dos Santos, Universidade Federal do Paraná

Academic in the course of Nursing in the modality of baccalaureate and licentiate by the Federal University of Paraná; scientific initiation student Self-inflicted injuries due to suicidal behavior, extension student in the Socorrer project; rescuer & rescuer by the Pickler team rescue school, member of the academic league of urgency and emergency of Hospital do Trabalhador and member of the scientific commission of the same academic league.

Amanda Khetleen Gusso, Universidade Federal do Paraná

Postgraduate student in Pediatrics and Neonatology at Universidade Positivo. She is currently a Nurse at the Adult Emergency Room at Hospital Santa Cruz and a member of the Center for Studies in Collective Health (NESC) at UFPR. Nurse graduated from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) - Bachelor and Licensed.

Juliana Machado Franco, Universidade Federal do Paraná

Nurse graduated from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Resident in the Multiprofessional Urgency and Emergency Nursing Program at the Hospital de Clínicas Complex of the Federal University of Paraná (CHC-UFPR).

Tassiana Meireles, Universidade Federal do Paraná

Academic in the course of Nursing in the modality of baccalaureate and licentiate by the Federal University of Paraná; scientific initiation student who studies the tools used during transfers between intrahospital units aiming at the continuity of care - centralized at Hospital de Clínicas de Curitiba, extension student in the Socorrer project; rescuer & rescuer by the Pickler team rescue school, member of the academic league of urgency and emergency of Hospital do Trabalhador and member of the scientific commission of the same academic league.
