Síndrome de Burnout en profesionales de la salud: una revisión integrativa de la literatura

Resumen

El síndrome de Burnout (SB) es entiende como consecuencia de una excesiva carga de trabajo, que se refleja principalmente en el personal de blanco. El tema em estudio, Burnout en el Trabajo de Profesionales de la Salud, es actual y merece atención, ya que afecta el bienestar general e influye en la experiencia subjetiva que a su vez afecta las decisiones, actitudes y acciones del individuo. Este artículo tiene como objetivo comprender la influencia del Síndrome de Burnout y sus implicaciones en la calidad de vida de los profesionales de la salud, discutir el Burnout en el ambiente de trabajo del personal de blanco, sus causas, efectos y destaca la importancia de la calidad de vida. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio, cuantitativo y cualitativo de revisión integradora, realizado en la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud (BVS) y PubMed. Se encontraron 313 estudios y Después de aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, 31 estudios fueron incluidos en esta investigación. El SB es un grave problema para los profesionales de salud, generando complicaciones que van allá del estrés emocional, agotamientos físicos e interfieren directamente en la disminución de la calidad de vida de los profesionales. Se pudo resaltar la relevancia de acciones para combatir la patología y acciones posibles que impacten directamente en la mejora de los síntomas de Burnout a corto y largo plazo. Por lo tanto, es necesario identificar los precursores de este síndrome, comprenderlos y así promover intervenciones que tengan como objetivo mejorar la calidad de vida del personal de blanco.
