Estimulación de la producción de colágeno en el rejuvenecimiento facial con la aplicación de plasma rico en plaquetas: revisión de la literatura

Resumen

Objetivo: El estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la literatura sobre la producción de colágeno en el rejuvenecimiento facial con plasma rico en plaquetas, analizando qué estudios ya están presentes en la literatura y cómo abordan este nuevo método. Metodología: La investigación es una revisión integrador de la literatura, a través de una búsqueda en las bases de datos PubMed, Web of Science, Science Direct y MEDLINE, utilizando los descriptores asociados a los operadores booleanos: “((Rejuvenecimiento facial) AND (Plasma rico en plaquetas)) AND (factor de crecimiento derivado de plaquetas)”, en el período de abril de 2022. Resultados: La búsqueda arrojó artículos primarios y secundarios, se encontraron un total de 91 artículos que luego fueron analizados y solo se incluyeron 10 asociados al tema de esta revisión. Consideraciones finales: El plasma rico en plaquetas juega un papel positivo en la regeneración tisular, con alto nivel de plaquetas y factores de crecimiento. Además de su aplicación en estética, ha habido un aumento de datos en los últimos años, pero el escaso número de ensayos clínicos aleatorizados limita el esclarecimiento de la aplicación técnica y el desarrollo de nuevos estudios, ya que no presentan estandarización en sus métodos.
