Evaluación de las manifestaciones dermatológicas en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica en un servicio de hemodiálisis del Distrito Federal

Resumen

La enfermedad renal crónica (ERC) se define por pérdida progresiva e irreversible em el número y la función de los néfrones durante más de 3 meses. Se sabe que el 82% de los pacientes con ERC en hemodiálisis manifiestan al menos una alteración cutáneo-mucosa, pudiendo generar un impacto negativo en su calidad de vida. El objetivo de este estudio fue conocer el perfil clínico y epidemiológico de la población renal crónica en un servicio de hemodiálisis del Distrito Federal y evaluar la prevalencia de las principales manifestaciones dermatológicas de esos pacientes. Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, retrospectivo, del tipo serie de casos, com base en el análisis de prontuarios, entrevistas y exámenes físicos en el período de agosto de 2019 a enero de 2020. Se incluyeron 46 pacientes, siendo el 52% del sexo femenino, con franja etaria predominante entre 40 y 50 años. Todos los pacientes analizados presentaron alguna manifestación dermatológica, con foco en las alteraciones ungueales (89,6%), xerosis (83,3%) y alteraciones en las mucosas (77,1%). El estudio del perfil clínico y epidemiológico y de las alteraciones cutáneo-mucosas en estos pacientes es crucial para el diagnóstico e la intervención tempranos.
