Clusters de sintomas oncológicos em pacientes pediátricos com câncer sob quimioterapia: protocolo de revisão sistemática

Resumo

Trata-se de um protocolo de revisão sistemática cujo objetivo é sintetizar e avaliar a prevalência, a composição, a estabilidade, os preditores e desfechos dos clusters de sintomas oncológicos em crianças e adolescentes sob tratamento quimioterápico. O presente protocolo de revisão sistemática é norteado pelo Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols-PRISMA-P. A busca por evidências abrangerá a MEDLINE/PubMed, Cochrane Library; Embase; PsycINFO e Web-of-Science; além dos sites de registros de ensaio clínico (ClinicalTrials.gov e WHO-ICTRP) e fontes adicionais: The British Library, Google Scholar e preprints for Health Sciences-medRXiv. Dois pesquisadores irão extrair e avaliar independentemente os estudos incluídos. A qualidade metodológica dos estudos será avaliada por ferramentas específicas por delineamento. Os resultados serão apresentados através de tabelas, gráficos, síntese qualitativa e serão avaliados com base nos desfechos. Esta será a primeira revisão sistemática com alto rigor metodológico reunir as evidências sobre os clusters de sintomas oncológicos na área da Oncologia Pediátrica. A compreensão das experiências de crianças e adolescentes com câncer sobre os clusters de sintomas oncológicos pode fornecer uma base científica para direcionar terapêuticas personalizadas, principalmente para o manejo de sintomas concomitantes.
