Introduction: Adolescent pregnancy represents an important challenge for public health, as it is associated with higher obstetric risks, low educational attainment, and social vulnerability. In Brazil, despite the reduction observed in recent decades, the rates remain high, especially in less developed regions (Brasil, 2012; Beraldo, 2017). Objective: To analyze the epidemiological profile of adolescent pregnancy in the state of Goiás between 2009 and 2023. Methodology: Ecological, observational, and cross-sectional epidemiological study based on secondary data from the Live Birth Information System (SINASC), available on the DATASUS platform. Mothers aged 10 to 19 years were included, considering variables such as municipality of occurrence, age group, education level, marital status, race/color, and number of prenatal consultations. Results: During the analyzed period, 182,411 births from adolescent mothers were recorded in Goiás, with 4.4% among those aged 10–14 years and 95.6% between 15–19 years. Most mothers declared themselves single (67.5%) and mixed-race (70%). A predominance of schooling between 8 and 11 years and satisfactory prenatal follow-up in more than half of the cases was observed. Goiânia, Aparecida de Goiânia, and Anápolis presented the highest rates. Conclusion: Despite the decreasing trend, adolescent pregnancy remains prevalent in Goiás and reflects educational and socioeconomic inequalities. Strengthening public policies on sexual education, access to contraceptive methods, and multiprofessional follow-up is essential for prevention and comprehensive adolescent care.
