Anestesia em odontopediatria: sistemas alternativos e convencionais. Uma revisão da literatura

Resumo

As intervenções odontológicas pediátricas devem, sem dúvida, ser realizadas com um foco importante na forma de aplicação da anestesia, a fim de utilizar o sistema mais adequado para cada caso. Com base nessa premissa, o presente estudo foi realizado com o objetivo de identificar e determinar qual é o melhor sistema de aplicação de anestesia em odontopediatria, sistemas alternativos ou sistemas convencionais. Quanto à metodologia, este artigo científico foi desenvolvido sob uma metodologia de pesquisa descritiva apoiada na busca eletrônica de estudos previamente realizados em diversos repositórios digitais relacionados às ciências médicas, como PubMed (Medline), Science Direct, Scopus, Redalyc e Google Scholar. Além disso, uma abordagem mista e um desenho de pesquisa não experimental foram usados. Como resultado, foi possível determinar que os sistemas alternativos têm apresentado variações importantes que ajudam o paciente a se sentir confortável dentro dos processos odontológicos que requerem anestesia, porém, após ter analisado todos os aspectos correspondentes à anestesia em odontopediatria, pode-se afirmar que não existe um sistema único como o melhor sistema anestésico.
