Adolescentes vítimas de abuso sexual e musicoterapia: Uma revisão sistemática

Resumo

Introdução: A violência sexual representa um importante problema de saúde pública que impacta o futuro dos adolescentes. A musicoterapia pode ser um tratamento para as consequências da violência sexual. No entanto, há pouca evidência que oriente a prática profissional. A pesquisa atual contribui para melhor compreensão do uso da música como terapia com adolescentes vítimas de abuso sexual. Objetivo: Identificar pesquisas primárias sobre musicoterapia para adolescentes vítimas de abuso sexual para entender o contexto de atendimento, idade dos participantes, duração da terapia, treinamento do terapeuta, objetivos clínicos específicos, métodos aplicados e significado da prática. Participantes: Adolescente, abusado sexualmente na infância e/ou adolescência frequentando serviço de saúde público ou privado. Método: Revisão sistemática qualitativa, sete bases de dados e três periódicos específicos da área. Resultado: Entre 492 achados, foram incluídos sete estudos nos anos de 1992 e 2018. A musicoterapia tem sido oferecida em hospitais, consultórios particulares, instituições, por um musicoterapeuta qualificado; vários sintomas foram abordados como depressão, transtorno de estresse pós-traumático, ansiedade com objetivos de melhorar as habilidades sociais; experiências afetivas positivas; auto-regulação emocional; narrativa autobiográfica; expressão e comunicação de ideias e sentimentos. Conclusão: A musicoterapia parece ser um valioso instrumento terapêutico para pacientes jovens, os quais se sentem confortáveis ​​com a música, ela facilita o vínculo terapêutico, ajuda na expressão e comunicação de sentimentos e é uma terapia menos confrontadora.
